Privacy Policy

What information is collected through this site, why it is held, and the choices available over it.

Updated August 2026

RenovaMedicare does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

01

Scope of this policy

This policy covers the RenovaMedicare website and the forms available on it, including the contact form, the account sign-up form and the password reset request. It explains what is gathered from a visitor, the reason it is gathered and how long it stays on file.

Using this site means accepting the practices set out below. Where a page links out to an insurer, a government resource or another outside site, that destination runs under its own policy rather than this one.

02

Information provided directly

Nothing in this category is collected unless it is typed into a form and submitted. That includes:

  • A first and last name entered on the contact or sign-up form.
  • An email address, used to reply to a question or to reach an account.
  • A phone number, where one is supplied on the sign-up form.
  • The subject and body of any message sent through the contact page.
  • Consent selections made in the agreements section of the sign-up form.

Medical records, insurance claim files and payment details are not requested anywhere on this site and should not be sent through a form.

03

Information gathered automatically

A visit leaves ordinary technical traces, held in aggregate and used to keep the site working properly. These include browser type, device category, referring page, the pages opened and the general region a request came from.

This material is not used to build a profile of an individual reader and is not matched back to a name or an email address.

04

Why the information is used

  • To answer a question sent through the contact form in writing.
  • To create and maintain an account and the material saved inside it.
  • To send service messages about a submitted request, where consent covers it.
  • To send Medicare related updates and offers, where that separate consent has been given.
  • To keep the site secure, spot misuse and fix faults that show up in use.
05

Consent and text messages

The consent boxes on the sign-up form are optional and each one stands on its own. Ticking the service box covers messages about a submitted request. Ticking the marketing box covers Medicare plan updates and offers. Neither is a condition of using this site.

Text message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Replying STOP ends messages and replying HELP requests support.

06

How information is shared

Personal information is not sold, rented or traded. It is shared only in the narrow situations below.

Service providers

Hosting, email delivery and message delivery providers process information strictly to carry out those tasks and are not permitted to use it for anything else.

Legal obligation

Information may be disclosed where a valid legal request requires it, or where disclosure is needed to protect the safety and rights of visitors to this site.

07

Cookies and similar files

Small files are stored by the browser to remember settings between visits and to measure which pages are opened. Most browsers allow these files to be blocked or cleared from their settings menu. Blocking them may stop some parts of the site from behaving as expected.

08

How long it is kept

Contact messages are held for as long as the exchange remains useful and are then removed. Account details stay on file while the account is open, and are deleted once it is closed. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then cleared.

09

Keeping information secure

Reasonable technical and organisational measures protect the information held, including encrypted transfer and restricted access to stored records. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so absolute protection cannot be promised.

10

Choices available to you

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information held about you.
  • Ask for anything inaccurate to be corrected.
  • Ask for your information to be deleted, where no legal duty requires keeping it.
  • Withdraw a consent that was previously given, at any point.
  • Stop text messages by replying STOP to any message received.

Requests can be sent through the contact details at the end of this page.

11

Children

This site is meant for adults aged 18 and over. Information is not knowingly collected from children. Where it becomes clear that a child has submitted details through a form, those details are removed.

12

Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised as the site changes or as rules covering it change. The stamp at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Continued use of the site after a revision means the updated policy applies.

Questions about this policy

Anything unclear in the sections above can be raised through the details below or through the contact page.
